Lecture at Burg Giebichenstein

Prof. Anna Berkenbusch invited me to Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. Yesterday I talked there about the King-Bansah-project. The athomsphere was very familiar. The students and professores were very interested and we talked a lot about the backgrounds of the project.
After the lecture I talked with the students Wolfgang, Robert and their supervisor Jenny about their very cool book-project for Africavenir.
I spent the rest of the day with Wolfgang and Robert. It was fun! Thank you guys!

TYPO Berlin 2010 – 24h-review

One week after our lecture at TYPO Berlin 2010 I have time to check and share some photos. The day in Berlin were impressive. The speech went better than I wished in my sweetest dream. The people gave us very nice feedback, drunk all the AKOSOMBOs in ten minutes and gave us thundering applause. The King and me were very happy about that and we went out on the same day for a dinner with the whole team and friends. He ate »Eisbein« and loved to underline the fact that he was the only real German at the table. It was fun! Unfortunately I have no picture of this.

komma, the student magazine of Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, faculty of design is nominated for The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2011. The reason of the nomination was especially issue no.3 which already won the red dot communication design award and the European design award. I was responsible for this issue as chief editor.
The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the country‘s highest distinction in the field of design. It is known as the »Prize of Prizes«. The reason: no other design award sets such strict criteria on entries. Thus, a company can only enter the competition for the Design Award if its product has already been awarded a national or international design prize. Another precondition for entry is that companies must have been nominated by the Ministries and Senators of the Federal States or by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
